International schools in Thailand have expanded rapidly over the past two decades, with over 100 international schools and kindergartens opening in Bangkok alone. As one of only a handful of not-for-profit international schools in the city, NIST is overseen by the NIST International School Foundation, composed almost entirely of parent representatives, elected and appointed by the community. This model has enabled us to grow steadily, while also providing tremendous stability and a continual focus on the learning and wellbeing of students in our care.
With that success also comes a responsibility to openly share key statistics and results, university acceptances and matriculation, ongoing and upcoming developments, and other key information. Several years ago we began producing an annual report that captured some of the ways in which NIST stands out among many of the other international schools in Thailand.
